  1. Lovescience1, I love your nickname here. Very appropriate! My favorite thing about science is working on something that nobody else has worked on before. It means that whatever contribution I make in science is still important and that makes me smile. 😀

  2. Cool name lovescience1! My favourite thing about science is that when you embrace it and go looking, you learn so so so much. It sounds a bit lame to say that learning is the best thing, but it’s incredible how once you have been reading about science for a while, you can see how the science is important to everything you do in life. This is why I started my website sciengage.com.au. Now every day I can read hundreds of stories from people all over the world about new science developments! I am learning more than ever. Don’t ever think that learning is boring, because when you are interested in the topic, it is one of the most fun things you can do!

  4. Getting to think up crazy ideas and then getting to go in my lab and test if they are true in the real world or not!! (Often they seem like good ideas when in my mind, but then often fail the ‘test’ during the experiment!!)

  5. Haha, lovescience1, I like your username!

My favourite thing about science is exploring. Some days you’re exploring websites looking at other people’s work and learning from them, some days you’re exploring your own ideas, finding new pathways to your goal.

Some days we just explore the morning tea room looking for left over cake.

    It’s always exciting to find answers/cake. : )
