Hey jlim48! It is possible to teleport… But not humans unfortunately! Scientists have JUST figured out how to teleport tiny charged particles… it’s very complicated, and actually had to do with two particles being in two different places. When scientists shot lasers at them and excited them in a certain way, they became what is called “entangled”. Then, one particle in one place basically turned into the particle from the other place!
I read somewhere recently that calculations have shown that to teleport like on Startrek would be so complicated (to do it without destroying us all of our brains and thoughts would need to be saved and re-put together) that it would take 4,850,000,000,000,000 years, which is about 350,000 times longer than the universe! So we are a LONG way off from figuring out how to do it with humans, but scientists are still getting into it!
I wish :'( Can you imagine how much money and fuel we would save if we could teleport from point A to point B rather then fly? I mean seriously, I am so afraid of flying, teleporting would be way cooler! But sadly, we are a long way away from that technology for humans!

Aw man! If only!
I want to go to London at the end of the year for a holiday… I would save so much money if teleportation worked for humans…
