Jacob, Maths and I never really got along. I was very good at Maths in primary school and also good at it until year 10. After that I did three unit maths in high school and managed to pass it but was useless at it! I never really understood why I had to always find x! It’s like finding nemo but only more annoying! Its keeps disappearing! FIND X! FIND X!
I’m so glad that the maths I do here in microbiology is very basic maths! phew! hehehe
You love maths don’t you? Did you know that Maths is Science? My boyfriend is a Math scientist 😀
Maths is very important for science…. But I’m not a big fan of it. I always hated it at school (but wasn’t too bad at it), and even had to do it at university as well! I use it every day, but that’s part of my job. I don’t do it any more than I have to hahaha
Jacob, you’re like an I’m a Scientist celebrity now! : )
I like maths when I understand it. I was okay at it at school, and I did some maths at uni too… it got a bit weird, they stopped using numbers and it was more about concepts and trying to picture weird shapes.
The maths we use in chemistry is pretty simple, and usually works perfectly, so I like that kind!
Hahahaha maths!!! I did NOT like maths in highschool – maybe because I wasn’t very good at it : (
The great thing was that once I got to university I really liked maths – for some reason it finally made sense!!! Yay
I used to really love maths until year 12 when they tried to explain imaginary numbers to me. Frankly, I was having enough trouble with the real ones at the time!! So I went in a gap year, forgot all the maths I learned in Year 11 and 12 then came back to Uni and FAILED first year Uni maths (which was just year 12 maths again!). Now I have computer programs that do lots of fancy maths for me!! Yay Computers!!
