I love lots of things! I’m very big into sport. I play basketball every week, and I have a rowing machinre I use (I used to do rowing in school).
I love art, and I do oil painting, charcoal drawing and pastel drawing as often as I can.
I LOVE music, listen to it every day on my way to work and at work, and I play the piano too!
I also like cooking. I don’t think I’d go on Master Chef or anything, but I do love it heaps and I cook for my girlfriend and boys every night! I make them breakfast on the weekends too!
I can’t stress enough how important hobbies are!!! Please please please make sure that you balance school and study with hobbies! It keeps your mind healthy and you happy 😀 Here is what I love to do (i’m warning you, the list is HUBE! )
1> Sports: This includes Field hockey! When I’m angry its good to whack that hockey ball with a stick! lol Ice skating, I grew up in Europe where it snows and the world freezes over, I love the ice! Running, I job to some of my favorite beats and bike riding. The longest bike ride I did was 70km, I’m training for a 90km ride for charity 😀
2> Craft: I crochet! So its like knitting but only easier, I make scarves, baby clothes and bags and octopus toys! I am thinking about making a GIANT E. coli microbes for my friends baby 1st birthday!
3> Photography: I love macro photography. So I wonder about anywhere around Sydney and take shots of whatever I like. I wonder if I can show you some of my shots?
3> Food: I love to cook and bake. My sister and I love baking together. recently we failed at making Macaroons. So tricky! We still ate them, even though they didn’t look right!
4> Art: I love galleries. I love concerts, I’m actually going to a concert soon at the Opera House, so excited!
5> Bushwalking and spotting wildlife: My favourite thing to do is escape Sydney! Sydney is cool but busy and noise. I love the Australia bush its so fully of wildlife. I have spotted wallaby and a koala and even a Platypus! GO AUSSIE BUSH!
6> Reading: Currently I’m reading Mary Poppins! Don’t laugh!
…maybe I should stop here! What do you do in your spare time?
I have lots of hobbies! And like Mia said, it’s very important to have lots of things you like, otherwise your work might start to get you down…
I’m super-pro at knitting! I make dolls of Adventure Time characters for my friends, and I’ve made about 10 scarves (sometimes Harry Potter house colours!) for different people!
I love music heaps. My brother and I play guitar so sometimes we have jam sessions. I used to be in a band (we weren’t very good), we just played loud messy rock music.
Photography is really fun too! I’m not too great at it yet but I’m learning!
Aaand I love writing. I help edit the uni newspaper and write some science articles for them! My friend and I were writing a huge story about magical fruit that takes you into an alternative reality when you eat it… we got stuck on one chapter though, and haven’t worked on it for a while.
What do you like doing? Any ideas for the next chapter of my story?? : )
