Connor10, yes they can! Animals can develop cancer just like humans. What is interesting is that a fair few of the cancers in wild animals are caused by viruses! Maybe we just need more vaccines and stop these viruses from giving animals cancer? hmmmm But don’t worry, we have treatments and cures for animals cancers in the same way that we can treat and cure people from cancer 🙂

In fact some animals like Tasmanian devils have cancer types that no other animals have!
